Biography

Diego is passionate about transformations. After creating an NGO to bridge the gap between the public and private sectors, he joined the Buenos Aires City Government. Today, he leads the integration of Barrio 31, one of the largest informal settlements in the City, into its social and urban fabric.

The concept encompasses affordable housing, inclusivity, re-greening, tactical urbanism and much more. The implementation of the 2030 Agenda underpins its raison d’être. What should cities do to ensure that we have the freedom to remake our cities to create vibrant communities?
